Strategic Stakeholder Workshop

We participated in I.U's 2024-28 Strategic Stakeholder Workshop.

On 31.01.2023, a workshop was organized by Istanbul University. The topics of the workshops were; the analysis of the needs, expectations, and potential contributions of university employees, leaders, students and employers, graduates, and community organizations to the strategic plan of the university.

The workshop was led by I.U. Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak, I.U. Vice-Rector and Dean of Açıktan ve Uzaktan Eğitim Fakültesi Prof. Dr. Levent Şahin, I.U. Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Eray Yurtseven and I.U. Secretary General Metin Küçük.

Respected representatives of non-governmental organizations, senior executives from the world of education, senior executives and experts from the business world; including Frimpeks, and public institutions related to the business world were also present at the workshop.

The first session of the workshop was attended by Heads of Departments, Faculty Secretaries, and Administrative and Support Unit managers.

The second session was held with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students. The last session was completed with the contributions of the business world, non-governmental organizations, and the education community.

In the third session, where participants from various industrial companies such as food, construction and textile shared their thoughts, Frimpeks, one of the leading names in the chemical and label industry, contributed to the stakeholder analysis. With our experience and knowledge of more than 30 years, we provided our opinion about the expectations of stakeholders and how these expectations can be met. Our company's Human Resources Director Ms. Tuba Cihantepe and Assistant Corporate Communications Specialist Mr. Çağlar Çavuş, also participated in the workshop. They came together with university students and informed them about post-graduate career opportunities.
