Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility

We believe that companies with a higher purpose are more profitable than the companies that only think about the final outcome.

In today's socially conscious environment, we see that employees and customers chose to work for and with the businesses that prioritize corporate social responsibility. With our Corporate Social Responsibility projects, we aim to provide a sustainable, positive impact on social, economic, and environmental factors in the countries we operate.

Since 1988, we have been permanently aiming to be among the most preferred brands in the world by offering innovative solutions in the field of chemistry and printing, which stand out with their environmental respect, meticulousness, efficiency, and innovation.

To achieve this vision, we strive to meet today's needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. For this reason, we focus on developing good relations with our partners and stakeholders by considering all social, economic, and environmental impacts in the management, operation, and development of our production facilities.

When creating our Corporate Social Responsibility Projects, we consider three important impacts on our environment: Economic, Environmental, and Social.

This approach allows us to operate at the intersection of this highly complex structure, where we can shed light on the society in which we work. You can check these projects out...

Our Projects Focusing on Environmental Impact

We focus on reducing the carbon footprint, packaging waste, water consumption, and their overall impact on the environment. We believe that having a positive impact on the planet can also have a positive economic impact.

A Tree for Life!

Trees provide food, energy, and income to help communities achieve long-term economic and environmental sustainability. Trees also filter the air and help reverse the effects of climate change. In just one year, a mature tree produces enough oxygen for 10 people to breathe!

With all these environmental benefits in mind, we focus on the reforestation of land degraded by logging, fires, droughts, floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes to restore the environment.

In order to achieve this vision, we work in partnership with TEMA (The Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, for Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats) and we congratulate each employees birthday by planting a tree in the designated areas in Türkiye.

Reduce Carbon Footprint!

The most fundamental element of combating many important problems such as deterioration of ecological balance, climate change, melting of glaciers, and the greenhouse effect is to reduce our carbon footprint. We must reduce our carbon footprint to leave a more livable world for future generations.

We are aware that the power requirements to produce our products are the most significant of all operating costs. To reduce this, we take measures to ensure that all equipment used is operated at optimum capacity to avoid underutilization and waste at our 9 sites around the world.

That’s why we are constantly working day and night on energy-saving projects in our R&D facilities.

Our Projects Focusing on Social Impact

A sustainable business must obtain the support and approval of its employees, stakeholders, and the community in which it operates. Locally and globally, there are various approaches to provide and sustain this support. These efforts mean treating employees fairly and being a good neighbor and community member.

Support Women Workforce!

According to the "Women in Statistics 2018", report published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the female labor force participation rate in Türkiye is 28.9%, while the rate for men is 65.6% for those aged 15 and over. We observe that women's participation in the labor force in Türkiye is extremely low compared to international standards.

In 2018, the highest female employment rate was seen in the service sector at 56.1%. According to the data, the percentage of women in managerial positions, which was 14.4% in 2012, increased to 17.3% in 2018. Frimpeks is implementing positive discrimination for women to increase this rate, but why?

We believe that the under-representation of women in the workforce is a missed opportunity both socially and economically. When investment is made in women, it enriches communities, states, and countries, creating a multiplier effect and setting a positive example for future generations, especially girls.

Support Women in Sports!

According to the information obtained from 62 of the 65 federations in Türkiye, there are 11,483,404 licensed athletes in Türkiye. While the rate of licensed female athletes is 34.84%, the rate of licensed male athletes is 65.16%. The statistical report shows that the rate of increase in female athletes has increased over the years.

We support our female athletes and believe that increasing the visibility and participation of women in sports and physical activity is very important in terms of gender studies.

Consequently, we became the name sponsor of Bahçelievler Volleyball Sports Club, the rising team of the Women's 2nd League.

Our Project Focusing on Economical Impacts

Maintaining high and stable levels of economic growth is one of the key objectives of sustainable development. Although giving up on economic growth is never an option, sustainable development is much more than economic growth itself. We have always recognized that the quality of growth is as important as its quantity. In particular, we focus on the economic pillar of sustainable growth through the following activities.

Frimpeks Stars

We believe that thinking outside the box is crucial to making the extra mile. Therefore, we collaborate with universities in our country to help young minds enter the business world.

With Frimpeks Stars Project, we aim to prepare students in their 3rd and 4th years of Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Industrial, and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in selected universities for the business world and support them in their career journeys.

After interviews with the students recommended by authorized representatives of partner universities, selected students are hired and start working on specific days of the week based on their school schedule. Their progress is documented and recorded through quarterly evaluations. If deemed suitable, the student's employment contract is updated, and they continue to work.

In this way, by supporting bright young talents in need of opportunities, we enable them to advance in their careers early on.

We are always looking for new colleagues who want to help us take our company forward. You can always check out the vacant positions and apply to the ones that you believe are suitable for you.
